  1. I really liked the "this is your brain on drugs" PSA specially because its so direct I mean the message just gets to you ..instantly.It actually makes you think wow am I really doing that to myself... Another one I really liked was the "Bullying"one because even though most of the cases are a bit more severe It will always start something similar to that and if not stopped in time, escalate to something worse. So yeah in my opinion very interesting PSA 's and pretty correct ways to handle the problems too.

Definitely the one I really liked was the 80's one.The egg in the frying pan is a great example to show what drugs do to your brain. (:

  3. Actually to me the more that caught my attention was that of Tolerance PSA "Dear Parents." This is the reality we are living. Parents or guardians of today have to learn to teach their children to share together. Not to discriminate as they are. Another thing I like is that the message says that whatever parents do children learns it. That is very true. I strongly agree with this message.

  4. All are very interesting but the more that caught my attention were the suicidiob and the bullying. The suicide caught my attention because I know several people who have tried it and because in this society we live in the suicide rate is very high, and of bullying because it is something that is lived daily in many schools.

  5. WEll to be honest I like all of them because every topic its describing someone in one way or another and this is the answer for there problem. I think and hope that this message that is providing this video can change people thoughts and actions because remember were are the future generation and if it continues like this were not going anywhere...

  6. All the ads are significant. However, there were two that caught my attention: “Dear Parents” and “Teen Suicide”. It is very sad to know that many parents teach their children to be prejudice. The values that children learn at home will definitely have an influence in their lives and will contribute to their actions in the future. It is even sadder to see a high rate of suicide among young people. I believe that having a good relationship between parents and teenagers is a key factor in preventing these incidents and many others.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I agree 100% making a concerned effort to have a good relationship with parents or guardian is a very important step to avoid situations presented in PSAs. I encourage all teenagers to work hard to have a good relationship with their parents or guardians, even though sometimes it can be difficult, because nobody is perfect."Dear Parents" is about adults that make mistakes without having a clear understanding that they are making mistakes. The PSA stimulates our youth to respectably point out mistakes so adults can work on getting better and becoming appropriate role models. Question is; Are you willing to do your part?

  8. Okay. Well, first of all like others have mentioned they're all interesting PSA,but one that really caught my attention was the "Teen suicide Psa". It was so spine chilling, literally with the music and all I just felt like crying. Also, the last one, the one about the egg. Well, that one was pretty funny. At least for me, you see its a good perspective to see how effective drugs can be and not in a positive or good way, but in fact, in a strongly negative way. Oh, I almost forgot I also liked the one about Obama because even though it was kind of boring, no offense intended, the message that it brings its really good. We need to learn to accept everybody for who they are. No matter what race, religion, gender they are, or if you're LGBT.Everybody is perfect the way they are and we all have the same rights "Whether life's disabilities.Left you outcast, bullied or teased.Rejoice and love yourself today.'Cause baby, you were born this way" - Born this way, Lady Gaga. Just had to use her, she is a perfect example for accepting who you are.Live Mother Monster! Back to the PSA's I love the way that they project the messages.

  9. The video that most interest me is "the best PSA ever". Because it's true what they say if you put something in social networks can find you around the world. "Think before you post"

    ReplyDelete
  10. I liked the 80s PSA because it is the most direct PSA I have ever seen.

    ReplyDelete
  11. The PSA that I really like was "this is your brain in drugs" because show you the real live because if you use drugs there are many things that affect you and make your life disaster.

    ReplyDelete
  12. The PSA I liked the most was the "Dear Parents" one. Because many parents treat their kids in a violent way and they don't have tolerance, that's how the kids will treat other in the future. I also like the 80's one because that's what drugs do to you, it destroy you little by little.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Teen Suicide PSA is the theme interest me more, Sometime suicide can be caused by many things and error that a person committed. Many lifes had been lost by suicide. People kill themselves many times by little things that makes no sense. I believe those people are weak and cowards. They let that the problem ruins they life. I think those people need to get up and face those problems because nothing is Impossible. Finally, I think it's important to inform teenager about how to face they problem with optimist and hope therefore to avoid tragedies such as suicide.

    ReplyDelete
  14. The one that I like the most was "This Is Your Brain In Drugs" Because it show you how easily you can be putting your life in the end of it. If you know the results of drugs,!DON'T DO IT!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I enjoyed every single of them. They all brought an importan message to the viewers. But the one's that really caught my atenttion was "Obama: It Gets Better" & "Teen Suicide". When I saw this two videos I almost cried, because its so true what they say. Every day theres young adults or teenagers that are ofended, insulted, bad treated by others and they think that the best solucion is killing themselves. People think your inferior than them people think they are better in everything and thats just wrong, because we are one and the same.Is sad to see how many people kill themselves, because of stupid comments other people have to say that are not true. I like that this videos, tells you that no matter what other people say your important and you could do the best. If you dont fit in a group dont worrys theres other groups for you. It makes you wanna be positive and see the life in better perspective, makes you wanna re-think how you are acting, how you are as a person and how you could get over things and how you could achieve goals in your life. I am really sure this messages could bring a smile, relieve or an oportunity, To those in pain, just simply because of the impact of the message.

  16. The PSA I like the most was "Dear Parents" and "Teen Suicide" because sometimes we have a problem and the first thing we thinks when something goes wrong is to suicides and the other one I like because some parents don't have tolerance and what the parents do is what the kid in the future will do or will be.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I really like all the videos, specially the teen suicide PSA. Suicide is a thing that happens a lot. People think that the solution for their problems is kill themselves. They just want to die because they dont get accepted or something like that. I also like the message of the president. We need to accept the people for who they are because we are all the same. If we accept everyone the way they are, Im sure the world would be better.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I am agree with the video about the bullying because the student although he was afraid of the attacker he reported him to the counselor. This is what we should not feel fear of people taller or stronger than us.Simply we report the incident to the correspondent authorities. We should not tolerate the injustice.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It's also very important that we contribute and be part of the solution, if you see or know anyone bulling or getting bullied make sure to encourage the participants to stop or go to proper authority figures. Not doing anything makes you just as guilty as all other participants.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Suicide is the most interesting topic. Already today in day are being many suicides. We must help the depressive person are those who commit suicide by problems family members or others. And teach teenagers to deal with the problems that does not happen so much suicide.

  21. I really liked all the videos, every PSA gives a great message ,but the one i like the most was the one about "This Is Your Brain On Drugs" because it gives the message realy clear and directly and it really gets you thinking , wow this is what drugs can do to your brain ,its really cool .I liked the one of Obama to "It Gets Better" because it talks about discrimination and thats a thing we should stop everyone should be treated equaly.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I really liked all the PSA , they all give a great message ,but the one i like the most was "This Is Your Brain In Drugs" beacause it goes right to the message and it gets u thinking and like wow drugs can really messed up your brain pretty serius,it was really cool.I like the one about "Teen Suicide" beacaused we see alot of kids comitin suicide and thats a really serius problem in our society if we know a friend with this problem we really should help him and something that impressed me about that one was that every 1 hour and 45 mins , a young person comits suicide it really sad .

  23. It was really hard to choose a favorite because all PSAs have a great point of view. One of my favorites is "Dear parents" because it trying to tell us and our parents that if you want a better future you have to start with you and most important start to encourage this thought to people like your children, family, friends ect. I also like it because it is so similar to our live today. Other that I like so much it's the one of suicide because I really think all teenagers have thought about suicide(including me) and this because of the bullying, discrimination of gender, loneliness ect.. I don't agree at all with the warning sign because at least in my case I didn't had any of them. The only sign that I had was depression. I totally agree that suicide can be 100% preventable and with the experience that usually make us to, at least, think about suicide. I Encourage you people to talk and not be cowed by any problem. There is a reason why God put us in all that situations and I think all He do is for our good. I almost forgot.. I like the one of Obama, although it was a little bit boring(no offense), I like how He try to encourage all people to love themselves and most important to love other people just the way they are. I like so much the way he worry about all of us. All the PSAs are so Awesome I hope this help us to grow up mentally and emotionally. God bless you all :)

  24. I totally agree with kellys and Joyce of 10-6.Those were the best PSA I have seen and reflected on this 7 videos. ;D

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well,I really enjoyed watching all the videos because they all talked about things that we live daily.I really liked the one about "Teen Suicide" I understand the children have tried it because it is hard when you feel left out or when they don't accept you, but there's always a solution for the problem even though it is sometimes hard to find, you can always find something you like, like practice a sport or being on a dance team, something you feel good doing and will help feel better about yourself and raise your self steam. Remember sometimes when someone treats you bad for no reason is because they envy you, which in a strange way it means they admire something about you and they wan't you to feel bad about t because they want to be like you, but the only one hurting yourself is you by letting them let you feel that way.The biggest obstacle in your life is you and anything you want to achieve you can do it if you just believe in yourself. I also like the one of Obama because just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you have to treat them bad.Even though we all have different ways of thinking we're all humans and we deserve to be treated with respect.Don't treat other as you wouldn't like to be treated.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I totally agree with Angel the 80s PSA is very direct. We can see that nowadays parents educate their children badly. That's why I also like "Dear Parents."

    ReplyDelete
  27. The one that shocked me the most was the teen suicide PSA. Obama's message was also impressive because at this age we think that bullying is some type of joke. I encourage the message about how this society needs tolerance. That is very important because the lack of it is the cause of all the violence in our society. Everyone, specially teen must be aware that this is a very serious matter. Maybe to some of us it's just a lecture we hear very often, but to some it's hope. Hope that maybe someone will listen and this serious problem will stop. All we need is tolerance and patience.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Tolerance is definitely about respect, especially freedom of conscience. Nobody has the right to interfere with this or any other right which the US Constitution grants us. Freedom of speech, of religion, and of association, among others have been taken for granted, and, unfortunately, on many occasions people have abused of these rights. But let us thank God for our pioneers, who set the principles, based on the Bible, for us to live a better life. Let us all enjoy our constitutional rights and be happy. Parents, therefore, should teach their children good values and principles, but don't try to guide their conscience; be tolerant. They will learn likewise. Jesus never forced anyone to accept Him; He gave them the freedom of choice. If someone wants to follow Him or not, it's his/her decision. Freedom of conscience should always prevail. Tolerance is hard to achieve, especially when one has preconceived ideas, but one should try for the benefit of our world.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I totally agree with you, Keishla. Sometimes parents don't get that they are in some way ruining there children, until it's too late.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It is important that we all understand that suicide is never a plausible solution to our problems. Things will always get better. I agree that tolerance and self esteem are key factors and we should all work hard every day to strengthen these things in ourselves. First we work on becoming better human being, so we can be helpful to other. Mrs Frances Rodriguez said it best we all have the freedom to choose our future. Remember how your life turns out is not up to anyone but you. You choose what you want your future to be.It is not enough to watch and comment on these PSAs we also must reflect on them and make due changes to ourselves or respectably suggest changes to the people we love. Be brave! Dare to be GREAT!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I really like all the PSAs because all have a positive message to learn. The PSAs that I liked more is "Bullying" this is my favorite, I like the attitude of this guy, he decided stop the abuse of the other guy to his person. He is an example of a correct decision. The other I like is "This is your brain on drugs" the example that he used is interesting and very reality.

  32. I like them all.I liked The best PSA ever just because when you go online to facebook or any other website you see girls that just because they wanna be popular start taking pictures of them in bathing suits and that's not fine. Also they write a lot of stuff withouth sense.Like saying bad words an other stuff to people just to be cool but what they don't know is that they are ruining their lives.I also liked the last one just because its short and gets to the point fast,Because some people you could tel them a lot of information and they wont understand or care about it but that is short and direct.Well i think like i wrote too much so people remember to think before your acts.Good bye!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I really like all of them because they all show you different problems but specially "Best PSA Ever" because it is so true people write and put things online that they don’t have too only for been cool or popular but the one that shocked me the most was the "Teen Suicide". Think before you post or do things because you are angry.Think about things before doing it then its too late and there is no going back!

  34. You know I agree 100% with Lyanne's comment on the bullying PSA its absolutely true, many of us do consider the term "Bullying" to be a joke maybe because its just a light type of Bullying or maybe we haven't experienced it.However some others have and they truly know what means to have the physical and emotional deep down scars that Bullying leaves behind and that can for sure follow you for a great part of your life if not forever. This has got to stop! And this applies to everyone :Help stop bulling now because even though you may not be bullied today that can all change in the blink of an eye and not only that, how would you like your kid to come home swollen and crying every single day from school just because some kid pounded on him, spilled his food, ate his lunch or abused him in every possible way huh!?Do have the slightest idea on how that kid will be traumatizes from school?! How would you like that ?Ask yourself if you were a parent wouldn't you carry a burden deep inside knowing that your son or daughter has an extremely low self esteem, scars in most of his(her)body that will haunt him(her)for the rest if not all his(her)life!Well you had the chance to take a shot and change that but you didn't so yeah, there is still time to help so think that up and let me know.

  35. The truth is that all of these videos are very interesting and educational. The best of all was the "best PSA ever" it was very sincere, because sometimes we don`t understand that everything that we post on our blog any person could see it, and there is no way we can erase it.The anti bullying video was awesome I love that the cool blonde boy defended the little kid by dying his hair like him.I agree with all of those videos! this two are my favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I really like and agree with lyannes (10-6) comment, because some us think that treating other personas bad is fun but is not and because of things like that we could be promoting the violence and suicide in young people or not so young. We do need tolerance and be available to help others and listen to them so we all united as a nation stop bad treatment and injustice. :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Everyone enjoyed the last one... I didn't really get the message its just too short and its kind of inconclusive... its my opinion ofcourse everyone thinks different.
The one i enjoyed and can relate to the most is teen suicide.. mostly because once in my past life I tried it using pills and other things and thanks to God i'm still alive. it's hard to talk about it :'( but I encourage to everyone here leaving comments to never think bad of yourselves and never say:''IM NOT WORTHY OF LIVING ANYMORE'' like I once thought because God created us just to have a chance in this world which ofcourse its not ever going to be a normal world everyday things get worse and worse but never look for the bad things in life cuz' there will always be more bad than good. There a hell in this world and were living in it, it wont get anyworse than this. so never try to do something that doesn't make sense when you think about it twice.. and never try to do or make something your not used to because what ever you do... in the end IT MAKES YOU WHO YOU ARE..
i enjoyed reading lyanne's comments since she also has a great message and her opinions is really clear.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I really liked the first one because a lot of teenagers live these bad moments everyday in their lives. Its not a healthy way of getting through your problems just by avoiding them because at one point they will come back.
i agree with lyannes and selenas because, they both tell that killing themselves its not the solutioin and it will never be and we have a meaning in this life and the solution will never be cutting your own life.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The one that had an impact on me was
    "Teen Suicide"

It is sad to know that most teenagers think of killing themselves.

Sometimes they are hurting and no one even helps them. Instead all they do is say it's a joke.

People judge without even knowing them.

I disagree with people saying that they just want to die.

You cannot judge without knowing how they feel.

    Keep moving foward >.>

  41. I really love them all. They were fun to watch except the Teen siucide one because that's not fun! Eventhough it did teach us teens that help is always aruond us. I also agree with my cuzin Kathrine, "Whether life's disabilities.Left you outcast, bullied or teased.Rejoice and love yourself today.'Cause baby, you were born this way" -L.G. I also think that people should start loving, because when you love you show who you really are & one you show everybody who you really are they will see you'r perfect because that's how God made you!!

  44. I agree with Xaimarie in suicides. Many times people are not accepted and believe that the only remedy is committing suicide. Many times they feel their problems have no solutions and are wrong, every problem has a solution. The sad part is that this is happening all over the world, and almost all are young people who see things beyond are markets remain a problem. They end up making the biggest mistake suicide. We need to know that if a problem doesn’t have solution is not a problem.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I really like all of them but my favotites are "bullying"and "tolerance" I think too that the childrens do that their parents do.If a adult do something wrong their children will think thats good. And thats bad becouse the childrens is the future of the word.

    ReplyDelete
  46. All are very interesting, but the PSA that most caught my attention was that of bullying. Bullying has taken Homeownership especially in schools. This summer I went to U. S. and I met a boy who was bullied at school. My people this is destroying the lives of us young and we should not stop with this already before it's way too late.

  47. Ms. Fiorelys Mendoza- English Teacher 10-3Saturday, October 08, 2011 8:09:00 PM

The PSA that caught my attention were the ones which commented on bullying and suicide. There are many reasons for people to feel like suicide is a feasible exit. One of the most common ones is a feeling of inadequacy as a result of bullying. I'm sure we've all felt like we don't belong in a place, or people don't like us.
When I was in high school I had to battle against many conflicts and situations. Some students in school wanted to make my life miserable. They didn't like me and would always try to make me feel inferior. At times, it made me feel sad, discouraged and I simply wanted to disappear. However, my mom would always say: "Every problem has a solution. While there is life, there is hope".

Giving up is not the way out of a problem. We must find the courage and strength within to surpass and overcome any stepping stone that crosses our path.

  48. I really liked ''This Is Your Brain On Drugs'' Since it speaks truth about drugs, first you want one then the other, I mean it gives you the message so directly and clear.

  49. Al the videos are interesting because is talking about what is happen in Puerto Rico every day. Those videos give to us a messege to understand and compress what happen in us live. We need to think what We gonna do in the future to be best people and thefet all the bad :)

  50. I really liked all the videos, every PSA gives a great message ,but the one i like is the #1 about the bullying;I think it's a way for kids that is afraid of someone to let them feel powered by picking on weaker kids basically bullies are wimps.. they use fear in weaker kids to cover up their emotions

    ReplyDelete
  51. Of that 7 videos I think the best is suicide is on all teens, because some reason sometimes is for problems on school or in the family, but if you know some one got problems helps it and don't give the back, because is a good way to figth with suicide.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The PSA I like most is "bullying" because it presents real cases of violence in school and how this affect negative the students that are being victims of bullying. I think parents may teach values at home so they respect other people and stop the bullying.

I couldnt belive that So many people would comit sucide. I agreed with the video when it sayed "Suicide is 100% Preventible". I belive that NO body should take this desition, nor yungs or grown ups! Suicide is NOT the solution for your problems! Suicide is selfish & unnecesary!

    DON'T SUICIDE!

  57. After seeing the PSA, I can say i liked the This is your brain on drugs and the one on posting. We have to rethink on what we post on the internet. Our picture can be sent to anyone and used in a wrong way.We should never post any pictures showing our nude body's.We can't trust anyone.so think before you do it.

  58. I really enjoyed all of the videos! The one that really got my attention was the Teen Suicide. Suicide is one of the most common cases that we have here in P.R. It can be because of some famiy problem or even at school by a bully. Don't get beat up by some jerk; get back up and do something about it! I also liked the one about the egg, it was interesting the way that he compared it with the brain and like Josean said, it brang a really great messege...

  60. All the videos were very interesting. The one I liked the most was:"Best PSA ever". Every single thing mentioned in every video is very true and we need to do everything we can to solve those problems. I liked Best PSA ever better because it went straight to the pont and is very true that everything that we post online everyone can se it.

in our school and other school are bullies and if u get a hard time with a billy its better to call a teacher :D

  62. The PSA that I liked the most was "Dear Parents." I liked this one because every parent should give their child a good example. If they act in a bad way or treat other people bad that's what their kids will learn to do.

  63. Wow!All this PSA are amazing and in a certain way every PSA has something in common with a detail in your life. The PSA I liked most was 'Best PSA Ever".Most of us love to post pictures on the internet, don't we?Of course we do,specially pictures of our friends at parties, celebrations, during class or any other kind.Posting pictures is great, fun, exciting, funny, brings memories, and most importantly dangerous. While maybe some teens do it appropriately others use posting as a way to expose their body to get attention. This message was incredible and remember everything you post on the internet never erases. So be careful! The other PSA are very important and every teen thinks basically in the same way.Never let anyone pressure you and remember the only 2 person in the world you can trust and are 100% harmless are your parents. Always think before you do something you'll regret.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I agree with Renan... Sometimes when parents are mad they say things in front of their child and don't even care about it... but when it comes to mind, thats what their child learn from them and they don't seem to get that. Everybody has to be careful with what they say and to whom they say it. :)

  65. I am very glad most of you have liked the PSAs. Most important I am extremely satisfied with your comments and participation in this section. I feel I have learned a lot about my students.I will admit many comments surprised me in a positive way. Your comment were very positive and in some cases very personal even when dealing with such delicate topics as suicide, proper parenting and drugs. Which has proven a lot of maturity on your part. I am very excited to see your PSAs. Great participation! Special thanks to teachers Mrs. Frances Rodriguez and Mrs. Fiorelys Mendoza for providing a distinct adult point of view. Excellent Work! Remember DARE To BE GREAT!

  71. Frankly, I liked "teenage suicide PSA", is really short, but very precise. I believe that it clearly explains the problem of suicide and stop him, committed suicide on a daily basis and the number of people that do not recognize the signs that have this type of depression is really impressive. The meaning of life is not precise, but suicide for things that don't really have any objective, more than that, is meaningless.I very much agree with prevention

Those themes are the reallity that many teens takes wrong decisions. In some of those situations the students have the opportunity that open the scenses to express and think about the problem of bullyng, criminality, preassure, alcholism, drug, ect.I congratulate you and all yours students for the creativity and tallent.
