I agree with Angel,Obama did give good ideas of things that we can do for the education of the United Stats of America,not only them also to us that are from Puerto Rico.

I completly agree with president Obama. It is our responsibility to study hard and take advantage of everything we learn. The future is in our hands and we shouldn't let anything or anyone keep us from being sucesfull.
I really liked the themes that play as they were interesting. Motivating students to propose goals and begin to study and not waste time in schools. That all students are taking it very soft and when faced with the reality of life realize that life is not that easy. And all students to aspire oh professionals in the future we can achieve. And I think this message that Obama gave to us is very true and important and we need to put it on practice.

I loved the speech it was really inspiring. At first I felt sorry when he said he had to wake up at 4:30 so his mom could teach him the lessons he needed, but if it weren't for that he wouldn't be what he is today, the president of the U.S.A.Sometimes we fail classes because of the friends we have or because of the situations were going through but at the end of the path it is not them who are going to decide our future the important thing is that when we fall we find the strength to stand up and keep going,everyone has a special talent,the important thing is for you to discover it because the decisions we make today is what's going to make the difference tomorrow. We are the future, we are the world of tomorrow! Never give up =)
I believe that Obama's message was very inspiring and full of motivation. Sometimes we believe that life will be easy, that they will not be obstacles or problems. Sometimes we decided to take things easy at school and when we fail, we start to cry and we just give up. Unfortunately that way no one will have a great future. So I think that as our president mentioned, we must fight, we need to give our best because the future of our island and our nation is in our hands. Our parents and teachers did their role in this world and they offer us advice and help us so we can be good people and professionals that will make history in this world. So as I said before we need to do the best always and if we fail, we must rise again and again. “ Don’t give up; the beginning is always the hardest.”
The president spoke about our problems and the problems around us.I have to recormice my problems and found the manner to solve it,because I have to be a good student and focus on my future

Personally I was touched by the message. Most of all I am happy for how he takes time to talk but not against politicians, facing students to simply encourage them to become successful students and human beings. A governor like this are the one that makes the difference. Are those who give even the smallest thing to make a better world. Obama not only believes in his country, but created and deposited all the confidence and future in the young men who compose it. I totally agree with the speashe. I think we should be more dedicated and responsable to what we want, for us and our future.

I believe that this video was really inspiring, I mean its the true ,cold, hard reality when the president says that most people around the world have so much bigger problems than we do.They have to deal with brain surgeries,Cancer ,loss of moms,dads you know the kind of thing that could really suck the life out of you and still they go on and make the difference.I personally admire that kind of person in any place they are brave and they actually go ahead and succeed because it really shows a lot lot but a lot of heart ,dignity and determination that lives inside that person because its clearly not easy.
I love this message because it is a motivating message to youth. As the President gave an example of himself, although that did not have the necessary resources strived to education. I think as the President said that we as students we must give our best ,fight for what we want and be somebody in life. Because as the President said "If we remove will not only fail to us also we fail our country."
This message from the government made me cry, Because it made me realize that we ignore studing, we dont like it, and the teachers give us one homewor and we start fighting and we don't care about it, we have the privilege to study and some of us don't do it, and theirs thousand of people wishing they could have the education we have but don't have the privilege. It made me want to be better student, not only for me but for the nation for a better future like he said.
I agree 100% speech is very emotional and makes us think about the things we take for granted. Like a free and proper education! I also thought it was great for the president to give an example of himself,Like Faviola 10-1 said "give our best fight" if he can reach all of his goals under very tough circumstances. There is no reason we can't do the same!
I agree with Obama, in the part that he said that "every one is good in something", "and that you can`t drop off school and then have a good job". I really give a "Like" for this speech. "Been succeful is hard."
It's traumatic that his mother used to wake him up at 4 in the morning to study. I couldn't hear the president for all the screaming but I think the video gave us a good lesson. It was a valuable experience.

I saw obama's video and thou the futight about the reality of some students. many of us don't like school or to study a lot. It is very important to prepare our selfs for the future. President Barack Obama's message to the students was commendable. He emphasized the importance of education and gave them good advice. I understand that his action has been an optimistic one. He also made reference to his own personal experience, which may serve as an inspiration for many young ones.
The message that these students received from President Obama was very constructive. I believe his words can be of motivation for many of us. Education should have priority in our lives. Certainly, our future depends on it.

I though that the message was very motivating and inspiring.I agree with him that the future is in our hands and have to make the best of it.Its true that we dont have any excuse for not trying our best to be successful.
First of all, I truly admire that President Barrack Obama took the time to say this speech, to us student, that are the future generation. I sincerely think that it was a completely staggering and inspirational message. Also, I really liked his ideas about improving education. I think this message was made so students can motivate theirself and eventually realize that it is what we do now that will tell who and what will be of us in the future.
I like so much this speech is inspiring, because many time we as a students put a lots of excuses for not doing the things, or prefer to surrender before any smalls obstacles. We thinks that all of the thing in this life are difficult and we never be able to finish them, " put the most effort on the things that you do". That phrase all people need apply in their life. Is not from brave to surrender.

I liked very much the Obama speech. It was very interesting and said many things that shocked me like, he was from a family of a single mom and also that his mom teached him at 4:30am. This is very appreciable and motivational. Something that he said that I agree with him is that we don't have excuses to dont go to school. If you think that you are passing a bad moment, first you need to think that they are many people wishing to go to school and don't have the resources. We need to be very grateful to have a free education. Something that we need to think is that we dont have barriers in our life that we can't beat. I sincerely think that it was a completely staggering and inspirational message. Also, I really liked his ideas about improving education. I think this message was made so students can motivate theirself and eventually realize that it is what we do now that will tell who and what will be of us in the future.

We thinks that all of the thing in this life are difficult and we never be able to finish them, " put the most effort on the things that you do". That phrase all people need apply in their life. Is not from brave to surrender.

Obama took time to speak to students and tell them they can do whatever they want, as long as they stay committed to their goals; reinforcing everything the educational system stands for. What we do today is what we'll be tomorrow. We are the future of our Country. we don't need the best teachers, the best books or the best school we just need to fulfill our self & put our best effort to succeed.& it might not be the easiest thing ever but with a little of effort it might be easy.

they've been people with cancer or poor or some condition that dint make easy to learn or go to school but they don't give up the want to show the world that even thou they don't have the same health they can do it cause at the end we are all the same, cause they really wanted to be someone & tried.

ReplyDeleteI liked very much the Obama speech. It was very interesting and said many things that shocked me like, he was from a family of a single mom and also that his mom teached him at 4:30am. This is very appreciable and motivational. Something that he said that I agree with him is that we don't have excuses to dont go to school. If you think that you are passing a bad moment, first you need to think that they are many people wishing to go to school and don't have the resources. We need to be very grateful to have a free education. Something that we need to think is that we dont have barriers in our life that we can't beat. We need to learn to be more persistent in our goals and don't give up easily. We should not be afraid of learn new thing in our life because we need to learn many thing in our life to become a professional.
President Obama did a great job with this speech and so did all of the students that posted comments!
